With the advancement of communication technologies such as fiber optics, satellites and mobile networks, rural connectivity is becoming increasingly important for socioeconomic development in remote areas. Technologies such as sensors and UAVs allow farmers to optimize their operations by increasing productivity and reducing waste with the help of these tools.
Principais Objetivos
In partnership with the Ministries of Communications, Agriculture, Livestock and Supply and Agrarian Development and Family Culture, STAC seeks to characterize the demand and supply of "Rural Connectivity" through territorial analysis in order to formulate public policies to optimize the use of technologies related to digital agriculture, property management, communication and education.
