Visão Geral
The restoration of degraded pastures is a fundamental practice for the sustainability of agriculture and the preservation of natural resources. Degraded pastures represent areas of land where soil quality, vegetation cover and productivity have been compromised due to factors such as overgrazing, soil compaction, erosion and inappropriate use of fertilizers and pesticides.
Principais Objetivos
In partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, based on crop-livestock-forest integration, STAC aims to develop new production systems in order to establish strategies for prioritizing areas for "Recovery of Degraded Pastures", aiming at optimizing agricultural production and mitigating climate change.
